Our Story
Scott Schmidt founded Looking Glass Hospitality in 2016 with a vision to create unique, independent restaurants and meaningful opportunities for hospitality professionals. In 2018, longtime friend and former colleague Will Wadsworth joined the company as Operating Partner and Vice President of Culinary. Having first worked together at Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, Scott and Will built their partnership on a shared work ethic, commitment to excellence, and belief in taking care of people.
From the beginning, they wanted Looking Glass restaurants to feel different. Rather than relying on scripted service, they focused on genuine hospitality: paying attention, understanding what matters to each guest, and creating restaurants where people feel truly welcome.
That philosophy still guides us today. Each Looking Glass restaurant has its own personality, but all share the same foundation: great food and beverage, genuine hospitality, and a commitment to taking care of people.
Today, Looking Glass Hospitality operates six restaurants across five concepts in Greater Cincinnati, supported by a growing team of hospitality professionals who share that same passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
